Geotechnical Testing | Coolac Solar Farm

Fortify Geotech recently supported early-stage development at the Coolac Solar Farm with on-site pull-out testing for the proposed solar panel foundations. This critical testing phase helps ensure long-term performance and stability for renewable energy infrastructure.

The testing was completed in line with Jurchen Technology’s PEG System guidelines, which focus on low-impact, no-footing solar mounting systems. Our team verified the uplift capacity of steel rods driven directly into the ground without the need for concrete or adhesives. These results will guide both the structural design and long-term corrosion management of the foundation system.

This project at Coolac Solar Farm highlights Fortify’s continued role in supporting the renewable energy sector with smart, data-led geotechnical engineering solutions. We’re proud to contribute to developments that depend on precise, reliable ground data to support sustainability and long-term asset performance.
