Fortify Geotech’s Brisbane team recently completed geotechnical investigations at a coastal development site along Main Beach Parade on the Gold Coast. The site will see the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new multi-storey residential complex, including a four-level basement.

Our investigations provided critical data on subsurface conditions, supporting the safe design and construction of deep excavations and basement levels in a challenging coastal environment. Understanding soil and groundwater conditions is essential to managing construction risks and ensuring long-term structural stability.
